    Default Philip Stein Watches

Is anyone a fan of this brand? The reason why I ask this is because Gilt groupe is having a sample sale.. and I was wondering if the deals are "worth it".

    This beauty caught my eye:

I searched around and I found the exact same one on ebay for like $400 more... but is this a good deal? Or should I just save up and get a different brand.

I have until tomorrow (midnight) to decide.. omg I hope it doesn't sell.

I'm like 60/40.. I like it, but what I don't want to happen is I'll buy it, then I'll see it somewhere online for much less... even lesser than the sample sale prices

$2,350 is a lot to spend. Hmmm, will you still wear it in 3-5 years?

    (ebay sellers pic)

It is and that's another why I'm biting my lip. (It's like I'm secretly hoping someone else buys it first before me). I'm sure I would wear it 2-5 years from now.. I could always change the strap.

OMG, this hot pink croc strap is crazy -->

2.65.. it's just so gosh darn sparkly

Uhg, I don't know what to do. ..is this a good brand

It is pretty...I think it would look gorgeous with a black croc strap.

Phillip Stein has been around a couple of years and his watches are favourites of several celebrities ie Oprah (who included it in her fav things a few years back), John Travolta etc..It claims to have beneficial health effects with its magnetic coil. Am not sure if scientific studies have in any way confirmed this (I don't think so) but the watches are well made and hard wearing.
As to whether it is worth the price, I think you have to decide. IMO since the diamonds are real and the stingray strap is also real then I think $2K+ is reasonable.
This brand is not however considered a classic watch brand but if you like it and the price is reasonable to you, go for it!!

philip stein is popular here in the philippines.. it's been endorsed by some famous celebrities.. i would love to get one someday.. have to save coz it's quite expensive though.. but i love it! great thing about it is that you can interchange the straps! and they have beautiful selections of leather straps.. i say go for it..
