Any Louis Vuitton Damier Manosque GM owners?

I have the LV Manosque GM bag and although I LOVE large handbags, this one is quite uncomfortable. Its not one where the leather will eventually give, its very stiff. Their is no closure at the top and although at the time my husband purchased it I thought that would be okay. (He purchased the purse with a poodle inside wearing a LV collar attached to an LV leash...) Currently the large handbag works as my brief case but for a bag to cost over $1500 l I figure I should use it more than once a month (or get more clients to buy homes, lol). I heard that they made a smaller version of this large purse, which would be very practical for me, but I have been googling and all I come up with are fakes and mirrors from ioffer and other scary sites. I would love to see a real one, does anyone have one to show?
When I called LV they told me that my bag had been discontinued and is now selling at $2030 retail! I am glad its a collecters item, I'd like to use it more... Does anyone use their GM for more than a tote bag?
