DH from the Purse Forum!

I guess this makes me an addict!
I first found The Purse Forum last Nov. when looking for Christmas gifts for my lovely Wife!
They helped me through a tough, bad buy on EBAY!
And even got me $50.00 coupon for the Dooney store!
Well fastfwd to NOW!
I was on the forum getting a Jimmy Choo Ross autenticated and did and then bought it off EBAY!
It's for the Wife's Birthday is Jan. 31 and I was looking for some more info on the JC Ross and Whamo!
I'm on a forum that looks just like the other one in fact it so uncanny I'll bet that there is some of you from there here!
Any ways looks like another great forum and at least you have a D&B section that the wife will love!
BTW I'm YYZ over on tPF!

You know the funny thing is when I first saw DH on tPF I asked what it meant?
I figured that it stood for "DUMB HUSBAND"!
I was wrong and to my surprise it really stood for "DARLING HUSBAND"!
Which I thought was really sweet of the ladies over there.
But I still believe at times that I fall in on my definition of DH!

Well Matt you are very sweet to allow your wife to OWN bags, let along actually buy them for her. Oh god... to think what my husband would do to me if I went on a handbag shopping "spree".

The funny thing is that since my quest to find a handbag for Christmas for her and finding these forums we have grown a lot closer!
The thing that I realized was that instead of spending time doing the things that I WANTED to do together, " Band practice, shows, and so on..."
That taking her shopping and really spending time shoppng with her were totally different things, In another words, "If we go shopping now we stay together instead of me going to the tools or guitar store and her looking at clothes and such." It really does help!

If you only saw the shopping spree's that I go on for Basses and recording eqipment!
There is has been a time that I have spent $8000 on a single Basses!
or $5000.00+ on a some recording software!
Or.......the list goes on!
We actually have a forum called Gearslutz for music addicts like me!
Now you know why I'm so lucky to have such a understanding wife!

^^^ Sadly, I doubt he will ever be to the point where buying handbags is "okay". Oh well... perhaps someday I will have enough that he won't notice if I have a new one. You know... like clothes! LOL! Sheesh, all I have to do is sneak clothes into the house and put them away. Then wear them sometime... he doesn't know the difference unless he catches me cutting the tags off.

Welcome! My boyfriend doesn't understand my obsession with handbags, lol. But then again I don't understand his obsession with video games and such. He also plays bass! Lol, I don't get any of the "music talk" he says. This is why I love this forum, you can relate to people who love bags!
