Default A different love for handbags.

    Hi wonderful guys and gals!

I hope this is a safe place to share my love for bags and look forward to meeting other people who are just like me. :D

It all started about 18 months ago when my (now ex)girlfriend kept asking me to carry her handbag for her. I didn't like it at first but the fabric was actually quite nice (don't know what it's called since I'm not an expert [yet!]) so I liked playing around (stroking/caressing the bag) with it whenever I held it for her. Eventually, after like 2 months or so, she didn't even have to ask me to hold it anymore, I just started carrying it for her on my own initiative you know... But this started to make her feel uncomfortable, can you believe that? First she wants me to hold it, then I end up enjoying holding it and then she doesn't want me to... *sigh* women.... -_-

Anyways, I think that's what led to the downfall of our relationship. It made me pretty furious. That a wonderful piece of fashion was her reason for breaking up with me, how dare she?!
So, in my moment of fury, I decided to take her handbag with me to my place. I spent a couple of minutes thinking about what I would do with it but suddenly I got interupted by my bowel movement. (I can't actually remember if that's what happened but that's how I think it happened ;s) And that's where my true love for handbags started. I decided to just take a dump in her handbag and then return it to her. However, I made the mistake of actually sitting on the bag, the bags nice fabric touched my behind. This felt much, much better than a toiletseat. I wanted this to last. My original idea of returning the handbag to her was gone, instead, I cleaned it so I could use it again for myself. At first I only used it to take a dump when I was feeling sad or depressed, you know, to lift my spirits again. But eventually it become a regular thing, and nowadays I don't even use a toiletseat anymore when I'm at home. I've bought many handbags since then but none of them were the same fabric as my first one so I threw them all out. I don't even want to know how much money I've wasted on all these bags, but hey, it's better than spending it on alcohol or drugs, right?!

This is actually the first time I shared this love for handbags with anyone.. I hope this is a safe and understanding environment and I hope we can all get along.

Looking forward to meet you all.
Don't be shy and leave a message here. :)

    Love xoxo

Hello Slayer, Welcome to the bagforums!

You know, I been a follower of this forum for so long, I check for people collections of bags and see what is trending, but I never get to register before. Just now I did, because I want to know what was the fabric of the first bag?

BTW I have my own love for bags, but it's not so crazy like yours, I have a very big sized bag that I like sleeping in, and I zip it as much as I could to keep me warm. So I think your love for bags is fascinating and inspiring!

    Hello Miss Truculent,

First of all I'd like to thank you for your reply.

But... If you had actually read my thread entirely, you would've seen that I already wrote that I do not know what the fabric was.
When it comes to my, let's say; 'handbag goals', getting to learn all the different types of fabric is definately my top priority. I do not care about owning a large collection of handbags yet, or owning a single piece of fashion from a top designer brand. This will all have to wait until I have enough knowledge about the fabrics.

Unfotunately I have not had the courage to take my favorite handbag, the one in which I shamefully take my dumps, to anyone who might be able to tell me the name of the fabric.

I was hoping with some encouraging words of my fellow handbag lovers, I might gain enough courage to do so.

Let's all support eachother and live happy lives!
Cause you know what they say: A bird lives happily when it flies, but not when it dies!

    Love xoxo
    Slayer
