Hi everyone, I'm Kitty! I'm from the DC area, where it's too expensive for many young adults to move out of their parent's basements even after they're too big for the nest. The basics: age 24, soon to be 25 (April), graduated from college a couple years ago and working a blue-collar job. Slightly frustrated with the situation so I e-window shop to relieve stress all the time, which is how I keep up with fashion, though I don't have the means to act on my style impulses.

I am lucky to have a handsome, smart, all-round-sweetheart boyfriend, and for the holidays he gave me my first designer item: a cashmere Burberry scarf. I think that might have opened the flood gates. I finally decided I deserve to give myself a gift now and then, and yesterday I got my first designer bag: a Dooney & Bourke "It" Barrel Satchel, in bubble gum. Nothing super fancy, but the colors make me happy.

I just fashioned my avatar today while I was at work (working hard, of course.) It's from the Esprique Precious cosmetics site, if you haven't seen it yet. She's the spokesmodel so there are great pix. I bet you already know that though, being Gemma fans and all.
