Hi, I'm Jo and i started a new handbag company called East Meets West that designs and imports handbags that are made by Japanese artisans out of contemporary kimono fabric. I represent these artists exclusively outside of japan.
Some of the designs are ones that I collaborated on with the artists.
These handbags are not cutesy, but instead are elegant, tastefully designed and
beautifully handcrafted. The fabrics are gorgeous and wear wonderfully.
I have also laptop briefcases and table runners.
These handbags are sold in several museums around the country. They are truly works of art and are worn by several celebrities.
