Sad What to Do with Christmas Gifts that is not really "You"???

For the lack of a better title, what I meant is, what do you do with Christmas gifts that you don't particularly like, can't find a place or use for, or you have too much of already, etc.? We've probably all had this happen at least once in our life. Do you try to sell them, donate them, give to someone else you know will love it & give it a good home, re-gift it? Etc etc...

P.S. If you feel like it, you can even describe what the item was.

To be fair, I'll go first: I was given a tiny pair of periwinkle gloves by my SIL. The size and the color were the issues. No gift receipt either. I asked my mom if she wanted them and she took them in so I felt better than having them sit in my closet forever.

I had never heard of regifting until someone said something on here about it a few years ago. To me, someone gives you a gift then you either keep it or exchange it. But I did get a necklace once from my SIL and it came from somewhere where it wasn't possible for me to return it. I wouldn't dream of giving it to someone else and acting like I picked it out for them. But I did tell a co-worker of mine that the necklace looked like her and asked if she would like it. So... it was sort of regifting, but she knew exactly where it came from and why I was giving it to her.

I think only really basic home gifts can be regifted. Stuff that was specifically picked out for you is sooo hard to decide what to do with if you don't like it.
