Default hermes kelly care instructions

Does anyone know if I can take my kelly bag to a hermes store to get it touched-up? I heard before from someone you can get it cleaned, but was wondering if anyone has done so before? Thanks!

It is always advisable to take your Hermes items to Hermes alone. If Hermes can't do anything to refurbish their own product, no one else is going to be able to either.
Why risk your Hermes to anyone else?

Yes you can. I went to the Hermes store in Brussels with 2 Kelly's I received from my grandmother (a brown one from 1959 and a black one from 1964). I asked them for advise on maintenance and they gave me a neutral creme. I was considering to have the brown one touched up and they told me they could send it to Paris and it would be as new... however they spent about 15 minutes convincing me not to do so because the bag is much more beautiful with the patina and the slight traces of use! This was the first time I went to a store where the staff spent their time convincing me not to spend my money ;-)
