Hermes Reference Library?
Right before I left TPF I started posting in the Hermes sub forum there. I was (am) formulating a plan to make my first H purchase next summer, probably August 2009 and my head was spinning with all the colors, leathers, sizes, hardware, etc. I was in the process of diligently reading something they call the Hermes Reference Library. I believe they also created one for LV. It has all the leather types shown for comparison, all the sizes of Kellys, Birkins, & JPGs, plus all of the colors and hardwares shown in charts, stock photos, and user photos. There are several threads with photos and descriptions only showing the countless combinations and there is even a large amount of info copied from the Hermes Info Book to help us out there who dont know as much as we should before making such a large and serious purchase.
Now given, there are a LOT of women on TPF who own a Birkin, Kelly, or several. Many women own 5+ and one woman actually owns every size Kelly and Birkin in Togo/Black for a size chart. I was curious as to whether there were enough owners who have a wealth of H knowledge to form a reference guide/guides for future owners? Most of the general information they use is easily found online and they have simply rounded it up and organized it, but I would rather not just copy everything they have and reuse it. I still have access to view it all, I would also like to avoid having conversations with them as I doubt they would be very helpful at this point. I would be happy to organize the information if there was enough out there or any interest.

Re: Hermes Reference Library?
I wish I had a Hermes bag. I want a Birkin and funny enough I was planning to get mine next year as well. Just don't know what season. I think one will be more then enough for me. I'm really a Vuitton girl but I do love the way the Birkin's look. I wonder if they have any that aren't leather? I'm really trying to be as animal and eco friendly as possible.
