    Default Greetings Everyone - HERMES BAG HELP

    Hello Everyone,

    I have recently joined the forum and need some help desperately.

    I don't know where to begin with my obsession with hand bags, however, I do admit I am addicted to purchasing them. There isn’t a particular brand I buy; it ranges from different designer brands like Coach, Burberry, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

    Just recently I felt the urge to finally own my very first HERMES bag … Having said that, could someone tell me the difference between the Kelly and Birkin? I am situated in Toronto, Ontario, so how much does one of these bags cost roughly in Canada? I haven’t had the chance to visit the store on Bloor Street, so please educate me the best way possible.

    The Birkin comes in 25, 30, 35, and 40cm. It has two handles which connect at the front and the back of the bag, towards the top. The flap of the bag can be tucked in so that it is open, so that you don't have to open the straps and lock every time you want to get in the bag. It's more casual than the Kelly.

    The Kelly comes in 25, 28, 32, and 35cm. It has one top handle, and can only be carried while the flap is locked in front. The Kelly is a more structured bag, making it more dressy.

    A Togo Birkin 30 in Canada is about $9000 + tax. I assume a Kelly would be of similar price. It depends on which leather you choose also.

    Yah to the Birkin. The Kelly is nice too, but to me the Birkin can be worn with almost anything.

    Any idea where can I buy pre-owned authentic Hermes Birkin Bag size 30 or 35 ? I travel to and from- Philippines - Singapore most of the
