A good friend of mine claims that she get a Hermes birkin bag at MSRP with no early charge. I trust this friend very much as she has worked in this fashion/bag industry for the past 12 years. she has extensive knowledge of Hermes, Chanel, LV and a few others. She is not currently employed at the Hermes in NYC but has 2 good friends who have been for quite a while.

I personally have absolutely NO experience in buying Hermes or Hermes products in general but simply understand that they are quite the "Limited Edition's: simply because of the large price tag associated....

Do you have any other reccomendations of Hermes Bags that I should look into for friends/Family? Birkin? Kelly? 35? 42?

geez...i could never spend that much on a bag unless if i had alot of money! i think i will just stick to my LV puchases. but hey, thats awesome that you are an owner of a gorgeous Hermes bag! good for you!

My mom has got a different one,a Birkin,white,she tooke it in Paris last year,she hadn't had to wait and she paid only 5.400 E..!

hello all i have a quick question:

i received an orange Togo 35cm birkin with gold hardware as a gift. i have every reason to believe it is authentic, but poking around on various websites i realized one small difference on MY bag and the rest of the bags.

on MY bag the edge of the handles and the edge of the top of the bag, are orange like the rest of the bag. in the pictures i saw on the web it looked like the edges of the leather are black.
now does this indicate an authenticity discrepency in my bag???

are some bags of brighter colors sometimes the same color on the edges? or are all birkins black on the edges of the handles and the top of the bag?

I WILL TRULY APPRECIATE ANY INFORMATION IN THIS AREA. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

No that does not mean your bag is fake. The color is sometimes the same as the bag. Take detailed pictures of your bag. There is another bag site. I don't know if I'm allowed to mention it. Use google try is my birkin authentic. They will authenticate using pictures. It's free. The site is called " the _____ forum"

They have very knowledgeable Hermes ladies.
