In general I avoid buying anything brand-new from a shop - unless it's electrical (need the warranty as I'm completely retarded when it comes to technical stuff and wouldn't have a clue what to do if something broke down).

I mostly look for mint bags and accessories, and only ever buy authentic and make sure I get all the paperwork etc. - and as long as those boxes get ticked...
Sometimes it does require staying up till absurd hours to make sure I can get a good deal - BUT it does allow me to indulge on a frequent basis AND own things I normally couldn't afford!
I have pre-loved bags. I bought my Chanel from a consignment store cause I can't bring myself to pay that much for a bag. And so is my mini gaucho. It was in pristine condition and I got it for less than half the price. Makes me love it even more!

I didn't mean it that way. So Sorry... But like at my school.. when another student asks what's your degree??? EVERYONE.. always goes.. that's a joke degree. Not because of what you can do with it after.. but because they think the credit value is unfair.

They say that though.. because journalism majors classes are worth more credits than say the average major at my school. One of my classes are 4 or 5 credits.. whereas someone else in a different major has 3 credit classes. They say that.. because ultimately.. I take way less classes than they do.. because my classes are worth more credits than theirs.

Does that make any sense? LOL.. also.. because my major isn't the full 60 credits.. and lots of other students don't think that's fair. Once I'm done with my major.. my advisor told me I'll have to take more sociology classes or electives to fulfill that 60 credits. LOTS of students at my college complain about that... They take a full 60 credit in a major whereas journalism majors don't.

No, don't be sorry! lol! I wasn't taking it the wrong way. It's true what you say about the number of credits required to graduate. I did so many literature classes to get the minimum credits to graduate that i thought might as well get a minor. it was that or economics but i was more arts inclined.

    Good luck with your classes!

I work forty hours a week, I am a teacher at a Head Start Program who has some money saved lol. I spent most of my money on school loans, and gadgets..I loveee technology ooh and ballet flats lol!! but now im going to start focusing on a few treats, bags!

My mom helps me out if I need something and she believes that if I do good, I deserve something. I also feel the same, if I work had then why not spoil myself :) ooh I also have a scholarship that never tells me when the money is being disbursed, I cash it and spend it.

and things seem to be heading to brokeville soon because you guys have such beautiful bags that makes me sayyy yummy!

I work part-time at my dad's store. He usually buys me techy things. My mom buys clothing/bags/shoes. I have a small collection, and they are all basically from birthdays/Christmas/Hanukkah. I have a Chanel 2.55 that was left to me in my Grandmother's will. I buy some bags by myself if my mom won't.

Well, I am a stay at home mom so I really don't have an income. I usually by my handbags with money that I get for birthdays or Christmas. Stuff like that or I will sell a bag that I no longer use anymore.

Done...I think...Until I find something that catches my eye

I purchased all of my splurges with my own money and I used to buy anything and everything my heart desires and travel whenever wherever for however long I wanted because I made a very good living I admit I was a very selfish [email protected] but then I got separated from my ex and my new SO doesn't want me to work and I am a new stay at home mom so he gives me allowances to spend on my "hobbies" so now I can only splurge on special occasions and instead of buying premier designer nowadays I only buy designer.

I am 26 year old funeral director.... My job is 24hrs. 5 days a week .... if someone expires at home at 4am- it is me who gets the call and wakes up and removes them... I work really hard ...Never get a vacation... so I make it a point that if I see a bag I must have -That will make me feel good- It will become my personal mission to buy it asap...
