Blush what is a vegan leather

So I'm wondering, what actually is vegan leather? The dictionary describes: "Vegan Leather is an artificial alternative to traditional leather...a microfiber material created specifically to act as a vegan leather" But what is--sss it really?

well it's either PU or PVC. it's just a petroleum based material that is created and treated to look like real leather. It's certainly not good for the environment but it's cheap and cruelty free. Most PVC "leathers" are very shiny (lots of patent leathers are this material). PU leathers have a MUCH better appearance and texture (handfeel).

    Hope that helps.

Some vegan leathers are made out of cotton and micro-fibre. It's pretty cool actually. It's said to behave just as leather does when dyed and its just as durable.
