Big, so I can carry all that I don't need, but do anyway.

I like big bags because I get more use out of them. Just in case I have a lot to carry.

I"m short and big bags look like luggage on me.

The biggest one I've ever carried is a Coach Hailey and sometimes I even think it looks too big.

I won a big Roots handbag (Chatelaine 80th anniversary limited edition - that's a women's magazine, for those of you who aren't in Canada) in a contest once.

I felt so silly carrying it that I used it once and then donated it to a charity auction. I heard the lady who bought it saying she thought backpacks looked tacky and she was buying this bag for her daughter to carry her schoolbooks and gym clothes in!

bigger bags look silly on shorter/petite women while small bags look odd on taller/bigger purse carriers.
    I kinda agree.

I can't say I'm for the big-sized bags. I'm more of the medium-sized since I'm 5'0 and I would probably tip over if I carry a big bag. A medium bag works for me since I have a lot of stuff to carry everyday. For once, my hair brush is huge.

I always have two bags on the go:
-one for work, which is usually big so I can carry all my stuff around (monday-friday)
-and one for my free time, which is small (weekend)
