    Question A handbag's worth

I thought this would be sort of a good question.

I know high end bags take alot of time, money, and materials to make, but, do you think a bag is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it?

I suppose this concept could be go along with anything. Remember Beanie Babies?! When that craze hit, people were paying hundreds of dollars for these dumb things on ebay. Now people won't even pay the retail price for them... which is $6.
Okay... bad example... but I suppose it could be like that for some limited edition bags. As far as the regular retail price goes, I think it depends on the bag. There are some bags out there that retail for $2,000 and I don't think they are worth spending that much on them. Now if its a Chanel... that's another story. LOL!

for me a bag or anything become to be worth it when someone really appreciate it and love it... for example a branded bag cost a lot but the style is not that good and just because for name of that bag that's why it cost too much...for me the price is not worth it even it's a known branded bag...

Yes, some bags do cost a bit more than others to manufacture. But I don't think that they cost anywhere near what we pay for them to make. So I guess I would have to say that most of the bags we buy are worth what someone is willing to pay. Yes I am sure that there are exceptions!

I think most of high end fashion is priced more based on what people are willing to pay, rather than what the item is worth. I mean of the stuff out there I wouldn't be caught dead with and the items are priced at $1000 and up. Fashion has a good thing going. The industry has created a seasonal change in wardrobe items that are costly. I have seen more and nicer items for far less than $100.
