    Default Spotting fakes

Hey, FYI.....tomorrow's episode of The Tyra Banks Show is called "How to spot the fake"....theyre gonna compare clothes, shoes, handbags, and accessories from all the major designers and see if you could spot the fakes.....should be interesting.....hopefully it'll make people stop wearing hideous fakes cause now everyone will know better!!

Oh good cause I just saw a girl at my school carrying a fake LV global shopper. And here I am with my cherry blossom pochette... perhaps she thought mine was fake like hers. But then I guess that would mean she's REALLY stupid.

That pisses me off, I've seen girls with their fake bags, look at mine as if they were thinking... "that bag is fake" or "i'm jealous"... I look at them back and think.... "please get rid of that fake bag, please"

I know what you girls mean. I get that everytime I wear any of my LV bags. Its disgusting and just plain annoying! Don't they know it's damaging the label's image

    > Thanks for the heads up Vanessa147! But sadly im going to miss it.. going shopping with the sister.

I really don't care about people carrying fakes. I just find it amusing because I wonder who their perceived audience is. People who don't recognize the bag as fake generally don't recognize designer brands anyhow, and people who do know designer brands will recognize it as fake.

that's the main reason i stopped carrying around my monogram LV and will only use my Epi leather LV... it's the lesser knocked-off one. haha. i guess. but ya i HATE fakes. because it's clear they are only doing it for a STATUS thing and not for the true quality and care that goes into making it (i'm a designer/production girl... i give a shit about this stuff!!!)

All the girls in my school think that the coach bags they get for their birthdays/holidays are real, when I can tell the difference if they're fake or real. And they are ALL fake.

Did anyone watch the Tyra Banks show? My attention was drawn to the last bag by Ananas enough to want to get it. After a rather long fruitless search I contacted Ananas and was told,

"we actually stopped making it because it was copied so much that it unfortunately adversely affected the sales of that style. "

So there you have it, while large companies like LV can take action and survive, smaller ones are left to struggle and even drop a good design, and real customers lose out as well.

haha hmm... well i am sending down to Florida a REAL Coach bag for my cousin who's turning 16 in December. apparently Coach is "all the rage" (i sound old there... err) and her friends have Coach sneakers and perfume but no one has an actual BAG so i decided to get her one. i had to go with a monogram one because then it wouldn't SCREAM Coach and i'm pretty sure that's what she wants... but i just think they look like knock-offs even when their not.
