I guess this would be useful to some. Personally I've never really needed a raincoat (plastic bag cover) for my purse. I see this being useful for those who A) are using a high maintance bag and they are worried the fabric would get ruined. B) Using an open top handbag.

For both of those occasions I would probably just switch it up and use a different bag on those rainy days.

If you do choose to use a Raincoat for your purse. Are you suppose to roll this up and put it in your bag afterwards? Then all your bag contents will get wet.

I guess it is same idea if you are using an umbrella and it got wet. It comes with a small pouch but I don't think it is entirely waterproof so I guess you still need a zip lock bag to fully protect your handbag from getting wet.

I wouldn't mind looking into this. I usually would just switch it up but there have been times I was caught off guard by the weather and it started pouring all of a sudden. We have these weirdo downpours in New York during the summer sometimes. There are a number of bags which I use less often than I would like because of the worry over having them accidentally exposed to any inclement weather 😔

I am using purse rain cover by CloverSac, what I love about their purse raincoat is it comes with a double zip locked bag for me to store the wet raincoat after use. The previous purse rain cover I use provide a pouch which does not protect from seeping out.

Uhoh, only 1 review for the Raincoat on shopbop and it's not very favorable.

"It seems like a great idea, but with horrible material. Returned."
