Default Luggage for Your Winter Getaway

All of this talk about cruise/resort collections and winter vacations has me really wishing I wasn't where I am right now. Holy cow, is it cold! There was even a windchill advisory last night. As you can imagine, a warm sunny place sounds pretty good right now. If only I could get away, even if it was only for a few days. Oh well, a girl can dream, right? And I know there are probably tons of bagistas out there who will be heading off for a winter vacation soon. You lucky gals! So if travel happens to be in your plans, make sure you have everything you need to get you where you are going. That includes having the right luggage for your trip! Don't worry though, I have some awesome pieces here to get you well on your way. Check them out!

    Dakine Split Roller 100L Suitcase - $210

Herschel Supply Co. Parcel Suitcase - $240

    Bric's Milano Bellagio 30" Spinner - $595

I'm all about carry-on luggage these days. I hate waiting. Especially when you arrive home after a long flight and all you want to do is go home and climb into bed.. not wait 30 min for luggage.

On another note-- have you guys seen the Trunkster?? Currently on Kickstarter. What makes it unique is that it features zipperless entry for faster access, USB charging, a built-in scale, and GPS.

You have to wait 30 minutes for your luggage? I don't think I've ever waited that long.

That's an interesting suitcase. So it has GPS in case they lose it?

I'm with Jennifer, I always try to carry-on, if I can. I was wondering the same thing BRS, wonder if you can track it if the airline loses it?

You guys must not go anywhere for very long. My husband and I could never do a week long trip without a checked bag. Almost all of our trips have been at least a week long because we don't get to go on vacations very often and when we do, we want to make it worthwhile. We were in Hawaii for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. With such a long flight, you kind of want to stay awhile.
