    Default louis vuitton handbag protection spray

    I recently received the Monogram Idylle canvas Neverfull handbag as gift. It's made out of canvas not leather. Does anyone know what kind of waterproof spray I should use to protect the bag? Thank you.

    I treat my handbags with products from Wilson's Leather. Stop by and a leather expert should guide you through their different products. Usually a damp cloth should do the trick on canvas.

    I would contact Louis Vuitton and see what they recommend. I wouldn't want to do anything that could harm the bag.

    Jack Georges leather lotion is really good on Louis Vuitton because it is wax free. It works really well on my Louis Vuitton briefcases.

    I would just use a damp cloth to wipe it clean with warm water. LV doesn't reccommend putting anything on the canvas. (I asked at their Toronto store)
