    Question Eco friendly designers?

I wonder, since I'm a newbie and you all are veterans, if you could help me. I really know this is probably a bad place to talk about eco friendly stuff, since most purses are made out of, well, leather, but I wonder if anybody know of any designers who use only synthetic leathers in their designers, or are eco friendly at least in the way they get their leather? Maybe a company or a shop online that carried them? I know AlternativeOutfitters.com is one place, but I don't know how, well, chic they are, if they sell true products or knock offs of real designers, how reputable they are, or maybe if they are even considered true fashion? I like my handbags to be cloth or synthetic leather if I can get it, just cause I'm so eco friendly, (the prices on that site made my eyes burn, but at the same time those bags are so cute!)

    Kay, thanks for imput.

What about Matt and Nat? They make "vegan" handbags and you can buy them on their website or through sohoshoes.com. I think their styles are original and they are pretty reputable. I also think they are pretty reasonably priced!

I remember when I was little my dad used to build furniture and they'd attach the leather to the chairs with little round headed metal nails, in designs just like that.

Funny how something so simple as a handbag can bring back childhood memories.

Susan Nicole is pretty inexpensive... I think less that $150. Hehe,,, you'd think they were more just looking at her fancy website though.

Jill Milan is an eco-friendly luxury designer who uses faux leathers and leather-free fabrics that are more costly than leather.

Malcolm Fontier uses PVC free bags that are very stylish and animal friendly. I love the way his bags look and they are nice to carry folders, laptops, and other items around. His website's malcolmfontier.com
