Men's bags!
I'm having trouble finding posts about men's bags. That's either because I'm new, or there are no threads about them? At any rate, I'm not sure how many members on here are male, but I'd like to hear all of your opinions on designer men's bags. What are you looking forward to? Who's your favorite designer?
Personally, I'm excited about Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2011 Damier Aventure duffle in Celeste (Blue). The color is just adorable. What do you think?

Re: Men's bags!
Hi Robby! I am new here too!
I am also looking for some bags for myself, I just found one from an online shop but I can't post the link.
I need some comments from a bag lover HAHA
I'm also equally in love with music, (Of which I have about 200gbs) and my Job, where I work at a hospital in administration.

I love that color! I also like the Graphite stuff, I wish they made women's bags in it.

^ Me too. I love Graphite
That's why I bought D the Daniel and Wallet
I wanted to get my Azur Keepall in it, but figured if were ever traveling together (which we usually do) than we'll look too matchy-matchy. lol

Re: Men's bags!
Jennifer, did you get him a Daniel MM or GM? And I like the graphite, don't get me wrong... but I've been surrounded by too many green's and browns this fall/winter... I really can't wait for color! I am a summer guy.

Re: Men's bags!
Great color, that`s the best choice for a sporty individual.
But speaking of men collection, how do you feel about the new Damier Infini?

Re: Men's bags!
Hi, I just saw this thread in Google. Maybe you can help me out, as I also am having a difficult time looking for a forum discussing men's bags.
I was recently given an LV Damier Ebene Brooklyn MM canvas bag, but I have no idea how to wear it, and on what occasions.
Please help me, because I don't want this bag to go to waste!
Thanks!

Re: Men's bags!
It's a messenger style, but probably too narrow to carry a regular laptop. Do you need something for a laptop? Could you maybe exchange it for a little larger style like Spencer?

Re: Men's bags!
I think the Brooklyn MM would be fine to use as a laptop bag if you have like a Macbook air or something similar.
The measurements of the Brooklyn MM are 13.39" x 10.63" x 3.54" , which is almost the same as the Daniel MM, just 1" shorter in the length. In the Daniel MM by bf carried his Macbook Pro (15") and it fit perfectly in length plus he room for other stuff in there too like his deluxe headphones and even a waterbottle - it was snug though. He also just got a Macbook air (13") a couple days ago which is much thinner, so now he was more room.

Congrats on your new bag. I really like it!

Re: Men's bags!
Mr BRS's laptop must be really big then. LOL! It's like 17" wide.

Re: Men's bags!
Yea, you would have to have a smaller laptop, or a bigger bag for that size

Re: Men's bags!
Thanks for the replies, boysRsmelly and Jennifer!
Yes, I do have a small laptop that I can carry inside my bag, and still leaves enough room for my other stuff.
But my question was more of what to wear the bag with. Would I look silly if I wear it with just a shirt and jeans? Do I need to dress up a little, just so that I could justify carrying an LV? Also, is this bag an everyday bag, like can I use it for school?
I'm sorry, I'm a newbie with luxury bags. And most of the men in my society are like me. We know next to nothing about luxury bags.
And also, I'm a boy and I'm not smelly, boysRsmelly! hehe!

Re: Men's bags!
You know, I think the bag can be dressed up or down. It would look nice with jeans and a nice t-shirt or with dress clothes. You could carry it as an everyday bag, but I don't think it would be too over the top for school. Do you use your laptop at school?
BTW, boys are most definitely smelly. Just look at my husband. Yep, smelly.

Re: Men's bags!
^ Agree
You can wear anything with an LV messenger bag. Whether you're wearing tennis or dress shoes, tee or dress shirt, denims or slacks, it works. What's nice about that bag is that you can wear pretty much anything with it. Def an everyday worthy bag, it for sure will make one awesome school bag!
