    Here in UK, the boutiques do Boxing Day sale several day after X'mas and the major department stores go on 26/27th Dec such as Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols etc etc. In boutiques, the seasonal colors go on sale, classics don't. Recent seasonal colors from 2009 (S/S09' and F/W09') usually go for 50% off and seasonals from previous years go for up to 70% off.
    For department stores, most items (classic or seasonal) go for 50% off and previous seasons can go up to 75% off.
    Great bargains but if you're not in the pre sale group, you get what's left and may not be much, the good ones are gone so fast.
    If I was back home, I'd get special invites but here in UK, what I spend is considered small change here so no invites
