Wanted to clarify if you are talking about clothing, bags, or both? Thanks for commenting.

I think I'm so in love with the craftsmanship...I have other bags though, either gifts or older bags...and I still keep them, but I never use them anymore...But can't stand to let them go...I also love the way the leather changes on the LV...
I'm going to sound totally nuts for saying this but, I love the way a brand new LV smells

Looks like LV has impressed a lot of people here from the posts I've read so far.

I was kind of vague but when I wrote it I mean with regard to bags, that I was drawn to LV bec. the mono speedy my first bag that sucked me in, was a classic that you could never put a season on. I was getting tired of the money pit w/ regard to my other bags, Gucci in particular, of them looking dated or pinned to a season. But the truth is this preference for classics is also rooted in my desire to appear timeless and save money in the long run that I don't need to refresh my wardrobe and update it every season etc. I go for oxfords, crew necks, classic skirts etc. I just can't be bothered with staying current, it's my lazy approach to fashion

Speaking of dating SD ~ I read in a magazine here (this months) where they referred to LV Speedy as being "so 2003" I feel like writing to this magazine?! I couldn't disagree more, they were actually advertising one of those recycling calico bags with "Louis Who" written on it, and mentioned it within the paragraph... like we would prefer to carry this tacky thing instead of a speedy. I agree they are timeless.

You know, the mono neverfull I think is usurping the mono speedy's place as the mono starter bag/every woman bag, I think bec. of its price point. I wonder if it's true, has the mono speedy been demoted from the fashion classics hall of fame? Has the NF made it look passee and dated? To me the NF has IT bag all over it and I steer clear of those. I think that bag will look dated in years to come and perhaps the speedy will gain favor again.

Classic and timeless pieces have my . It's a great way to shop. I have a black leather Prada bag that I bought a few years back that I will always cherish (it's a classic style).

Hmmm; I dont know if I would classify myself as brand loyal. While I obviously love RM and am loyal in that I keep buying the bags, I'm still very open to buying bags from other designers such as HH, MJ, and Prada.

BTW, love the peacock and orange colors of the MABs. Reminds me of Spring.

I am prettu brand loyal, when I want something I want all of the same brand. I'm pretty brand loyal to LV, but I like Coach and Juicy Couture too... Now I'm obssessing about Burberry and I want everything Burberry.

I'm pretty brand loyal when it comes to my bags. LV is classic and I know that I'll be able to carry my LVs for a very long time. I like the look of other trendy brands, but I'd rather spend my money on LV because I know I'll personally still get use out of them in years to come.

With clothes, I have my favorite brands (True Religion, Rock and Republic, SFAM, Juicy, Primp, etc) but I'm not as brand loyal. If I see something I like, I buy it. Clothes for me don't last as long as a LV bag
