Question Where Can I Buy Good Dustbags/Sleeper Bags?

Not all of my bags came with a dustbag so I need to buy in varying sizes. I like cotton ones best but I'm open to suggestions. I really need to find a way to protect them while they're being stored on shelves, etc. I've already done searches but haven't seen anything yet.

You should keep checking ebay. There are always dustbags listed!

I remember reading where someone said that they find fabric they like and make their own. Maybe you could do that, or have some made for you?

Thanks, those are good ideas. I definitely need them to have drawstrings.

I think a TBF member mentioned "MTO," something like that. Is that an acronym for a company that makes dustbags or an acronym for something else?

I've done this with my friends before for some of their bags - then fold back the opening and sew down with a tie inside.

That or search ebay for Coach dustbags. But I like the white pillowcases since I know they're not going to transfer any color to my bag.

That's probably a good idea too. Will have to find some relatively inexpensive white pillowcases. Sewing straight lines should be okay for me . Thanks very much to everyone for their help! I think the pillowcase is a perfect size too for larger handbags. I can decorate them a little with inexpensive trim/embellishments for the drawstring area. What would I do without TBF?

A friend also recommended Brendaruth on Bonanzle who makes them. Just wanted to share that with everyone.

Although these bags are sold as shoe and boot bags, you might find the sizes that you need for your purses at bagswithstyle.com. The shoe and boot bags are sold as pairs so you'll get two bags for one price. The double shoe bag could be requested without the seam down the middle. The boot bags are large and can double as a travel laundry bag as well as a sleeper. Also, you can contact the owner of Bags With Style and request custom sleeper bags made from the attractive fabrics that are lined with flannel and have drawstrings. BWS will make custom bags.

I go to the dollar store and get a pillowcase there if I need an extra. Those work great for the bigger bags too!
Also if you have a sewing machine, you can make your own out of cute prints, and even put a drawstring in. It would be a fun project for someone crafty!
