    Default gucci hobo, horsebit

if anyone has this bag, please help.

i purchased the large horsebit 1 month ago and have used it 5 times. the strap over my shoulder cuts into my shoulde and is very uncomfortable, i took it back and the Gucci people said they can add a peice of leather under the strap to make it more comfortable, not cool for a $1500.00 bag. They told me this usually happens after one or two years, not in my case. Any suggestions. Please help, is this normal? if yes i will live with it but if not, then i have to see the alternatives. thanks

Sorry, I don't own that bag. I agree $1500 is a lot to pay for a bag that isn't comfortable.
Maybe someone else here can help you. Good luck!

I don't have this bag, but a couple of my friends do.. I'm not surprised that you find the shoulder strap uncomfy. .. but I guess it also depends on what you fill it up with.

Sorry to hear you're having purse problems. Are you going to get the additional leather piece put in by gucci? I've never heard of them doing that.. but it's good to know.

i'm not adding the extra piece unless i have to, i'm waiting for them to get another bag in, so that we may compare, if all the bags are the same then i have a choice, to either leave as is or add the piece, if the other bags are not like that, then i hope they change it for me, but if the bag is discontinued like they told me today, i may be stuck, which is a real bummer.
the thing is i don't overfill my babies, i like to keep them in tip top shape, so it's no fault of mine.
thanks for trying to help, i'll let you know of the outcome

P.S. i probalby didn't explain properly, ask your friends if under the strap, where the screw that holds the horsebit down feels like there is a peice that goes horizontally down sticks out enough to hurt the shoulder, it feels almost like they have a piece of metal to hold the screw in place that may either be broken, or was just a bad idea.
    thanks

I have this bag. I think I've had it for like 2 years. Mine bothers me at the top of th strap where the two metal pieces come together. After a while the leather starts to wear and the metal kind of hurts. I usually only use this bag to tote clothes back and forth from my apartment to my parents house, or to carry things somewhere that I need to. I never carry it as a purse, so it's usually full when I do carry it. Which might be why it's a little annoying.
