Right now there isnt really Gucci bag that comes to mind that I am in love with. But if I have to choose one, then I would go for the Gucci

I love the vintage gucci doctor bags; I found this one off ebay:
I couldn't find the
exact one that I wanted, but it looks similar to this. The one that I want is a bit tanner and has a smaller, subtler "gg" logo.

Oh my gosh, right before signing on here I was looking at vintage gucci bags on eBay. . this is the one that I like. . .

Very cute! Don't you just love the doctor satchels? My grandma used to have that exact same one...and now she doesn't know where it is.

What I love most about the doctor satchels is the shape (reminds me of the speedy) and it looks very durable. . I mean most of the vintage gucci doctor satchels still look (to me) to be in great condition.

Honestly, I have no idea how she lost it, either. But she's the type who's very altruistic and caring, and I'm pretty sure she gave it away to one of my older cousins.
Hahah, I'm in the same boat as you are. I became attracted to the Gucci satchel because it reminded me of the speedy; admittedly, I stopped "pursuing the need" to get a speedy because practically everyone had one (I got a petite bucket, instead!). And you're right, they still look really good for their age...gah, all this talk makes me want to get one now.
