Default Is it possible to get two bags with same serial no!!

Oh dear, I think I may have been scammed. I have two bags, same style and season with exactly the same serial number.
6 digits on first row - I know this should be the model no and the same on each bag.
On second row 4 numbers - these are also identical.

I had heard some talk that the second row numbers refered to the season, which might mean they could be the same, but this doesnt sound right.

Is my "reputable" wholesaler ripping me off? I dont want to sell fakes!!!

You can't buy any designer goods 'wholesale' unless they're fake.

From what I understand... the first set is the style number and the second set is some sort of date code. Whether or not two bags can have identical numbers if they are the same style that were made at the same time, I don't know. I know that this is possible for LV or Coach... so I suppose its possible. Sorry I can't be of more help. Can you post pics of the bags? That might help us out more. What worries me is your "reputable" wholesaler. Although Gucci does sell off overstocks, very rarely can the general public purchase these.
