RARE VINTAGE GUCCI BLACK HANDBAG - UNIQUE HARDWARE. An ebayer with a collector's eye for Gucci told me that this is a Tom Ford design. Originally purchased from Neiman Marcus, Tysons Corner, VA. in the 1990s. Very young with stunning modern styling. The basic bag and strap handle are a soft smooth leather. The sides wrapping around the bottom is a ribbed ballistic fabric. The strap ends on each side with flat silver hardware engraved Gucci Made in Italy on each side of the strap at the locking point. The hardware is solid not hollow and has weight. The bag closes with one continuous zipper at the inside dip. It also uniquely locks at the lower strap end in the center by hooking the 2 silver hardware "Gs" together. So, you can wear it two different ways - open with the Gs not locked or locked. I personally prefer the Gs locked as that is the most attention getting style. Measurements: Basic bag - 14" from top of the side hardware to bag bottom, 10" from basic bag center dip to bag bottom, 14" at its widest length, 2" at bottom width, and 30" strap measured wrapped around end to end from the point the leather meets the bottom hardware. Number embossed under the Gucci inside leather label is 001-3341-3444 Excellent Condition. Never worn. Protected in its Gucci dust cover.

Not so sure about that bag gyrl. Ask to get a picture of the date code, lining, and interior. It's really the only way to tell sometimes.

That looks pretty good to me. The contrallato card and the tab underneath the zip look pretty good, although I am basing this on a Gucci bag I own, which is a completely different style. I'm not sure if that makes any difference!
