    Default History of the Gucci Bamboo Bag


    A little Gucci history for you ~ did you know that during WWII there was a shortage of leather so Gucci started to experiment with other materials like cotton, jute and hemp. Same case went for the straps.. this is when Gucci created the signature curved bamboo handles.

    The bag pictured above is the Gucci Bamboo Top Handle in army green.
