So I've only had one Gucci bag before and it was a horsebit. It was too big and I hated the top handle so my mom took it and gave me her speedy 25. Frankly, it's just never been a brand that spoke to me. That being said, I've been looking at the large hobo for some time now. Hemming and hawing. Then, for some reason, I bought it. So now I have this bag that I'm torn about. It's HUGE! I love the look of it. It's the perfect shoulder bag that I am known for, but it just seems so big to me. Maybe I should go a size down? I'm going to be so bummed if I end up hating this bag since it was the same price combined as the LV Damier Tresor wallet and Neverfull MM that I wanted to get and didn't because I got this.
I've taken pictures of the RM Nikki and then the Gucci large. I think the Nikki is the perfect large bag size. I'm 5'5 and a size 4. Thoughts?

IT does. I've been sitting on it all day. I'm going to see if I can trade this in for a medium. I love the bag but it's just too big for me.

The Gucci is bigger than the Nikki by a good 3 inches all around. It's huge! It looks kind of like the same size because of how I'm angled in the mirror, but it really isn't. I feel like I'm swimming.

I think the Gucci is a bit too big on you too. If you love the design, then try the medium, it might suit your frame better. But if you have to choose between the Nikki or the Gucci, my vote is for the Nikki as the Nikki hobo shape for me is the best and classic plus the color's gorgeous!!

I definitely think the nikki looks great on you.
Unless you like to haul a lot of stuff around the Gucci is too big, and compared to the Nikki, it looks dull.
