I think this is a great selection of new bags seen on celebrities. And to be honest, I'm glad you didn't mention those bags that everyother site mentions.. speedy, balenciaga b. bag, birkin, blah, blah, blah.. I

Thank you!! That's exactly what some sites had... for instance Glam has a top handbag selection worn by celebrities.. and the number one bag was a birkin! I already wrote about the birkin in my "Choosing a Classic" post.. so I didn't want to go to the Birkin, LV Alma and Speedy, Balenciaga City, Dior gaucho and saddle, fendi to you and spy.. etc. It was all the same stuff over and over. I just picked the newer bags celebrities are wearing.

I'm sorry you're upset. You did a great job compiling the photos. It seems you are taking reactions to the bags -- not your blog -- personal. No one is criticizing your choices, they (myself included) are saying they don't like this bag or the other. You posted photos of celebrities (not you) carrying bags; that's what people are commenting on. I think everyone here appreciates it whenever anyone posts info about new bags, etc., because we all get to check them out and express our opinions. Isn't that the purpose of showing bags--getting everyone's opinions and reactions to the bags?

NOOOO... me upset?? LOL NOOO! I have greater things to worry about now.. like cancer. I wasn't upset at all.. just stating why I posted what I did. It's not a biggie... didn't cross my mind twice. I have others things on my mind than that.

I'm trying not to think about it. It's a possibility but I'm trying my hardest to not think about it at all. I got checked Monday.. did this horrible scan thing. I went into this tube and they strapped my arms.. I felt like a crazy person that can't move.. and is contained in a room. I HATED IT! It was awful. I started screaming at one point... it's really freaky... you feel like someone just strapped you in.. and you were buried alive in a coffin. AWFUL.. worst 50 minutes of my life. But ya... I was diagnosed with Graves Disease and it's a possibility that I could have cancer in my thyroid. I find out the official results tomorrow at 11 AM.. very scary. I don't know if I could deal with cancer.. as selfish as that sounds? I'm not use to having health problems... I take really good care of myself and eat really healthy so all this is quite shocking....

Marissa, I'm sorry you had to go through that. I hope everything turns out well with your results and it's negative. My dad and MIL had cancer (they're in remission) and it is horrible thing to go through when your relative has it, but it must be hard if you think you may have one yourself.

Did you have a PET/CT Scan Marissa? If so, I have those quite often, and yes I hate them!

I have no idea what it was... I know they called it a scan..and said I was getting my thyroid scanned in 4 differtn angles. I laid down on this bed.... they strapped me up like a crazy person.. slid the bed in a tunnel... and i had this camera above me. It was AWFUL... I hated evey moment of it.. and I'm the type I can't sit still. I'm always moving every couple minutes... so to lay there straight as a bored was killing me. Then they say DON'T MOVE!!! I kept moving I couldnt stop.. my body started having hte itchies... I guess from being nervous. I can't think about it... it was horrible... I'm not even claustrophobic (sp?)... but the thought of being strapped up and in this tunnel scared me. I'm just scared.. the fact that they check for cancer is killing me. I'm a hypo condriac... I can't handle this stuff. LOL... AND if I have cancer they gotta take it out through surgery.. I'm TERRIFIED to go under... I hate this... thanks for being nice.. I'll hit u up if I have any questions... thank you againn!!!

Ya It sucks... I'm praying and hoping I just have graves disease no extras.

No problem Marissa!

I guess the scan you had may be a little different, not sure, they inject a radioactive glucose with an IV then I have to lay still for 30 minutes before the scan. Then the scan lasts about 40 minutes or so, while you are straped down moving back and forth in the tunnel. I hate it all so bad and I can't lay still either so they give me Ativan..sp? to keep me calm. If you ever have to have another scan you can always ask your Dr to call you in a script for it! It really helps!

OMG Marissa I just read this... I'm sorry you had to go through that too.... I know nothing we cou;d say would alleviate your worries, just letting you know were here for you no matter what and we love you okay?

I've had MRIs for my pituitary tumor. They never strapped my arms, but they would put my head in this vise thingie.

I just didn't like it being so loud inside the tunnel. Even with earplugs in, it is deafening. I'm sorry to hear you're going through this Marissa. Mr BRS's aunt has thyroid cancer. She has it because she was a radiologist and they didn't have the safety regulations then that they do now. She has had several surgeries and she keeps going to Texas for these treatments with a specialist.
