Well, I'm working on selling the Chanel wallet(what should I price the Buy It Now as?)...and once I do, I plan to buy a Pullip doll and a Juicy Couture bag.
My dad's girlfriend knows someone who knows someone who sells purses...she said "Like Louis Vuitton...and they're all under $70." And I said "Well then they're fake" and she said "They probably are..." and I know the whole deal with fakes and terrorism and stuff, but I'm just a teen and I really want an LV. Should I go for the fake, or stick with little brands like Juicy until I can afford a real LV?(regardless of whether or not I get the fake LV I'm getting a real Juicy!) |

Get the real Juicy Couture.... don't go for fakes. Fakes are tacky... and bad... period. I remember wanting my first LV for the longest time... and at that moment, I could only afford Dooney... Just save up or wait till a special holiday to get an authentic LV... It will be worth it.

Aside from the negative repercussions of supporting the fake bag industry, I can't imagine it to be a great feeling to be carrying a fake. What is the point??
You could go the ebay route and get the bag you're interested in authenticated here. But I personally prefer not to go down that way. These are legit online LV resellers: let-trade.com authenticlvlady.com malleries.com fashionphile.com I've personally dealt with let-trade, fashionphile and a couple of sellers on malleries (Luxury Exchange and Plane Jane's) and they are really nice and accommodating. Good luck!

ITA with the girls, I've dealt with most of those sellers too and they're fantastic!!!! Just get an authentic JC, and if you still want an LV you can always get a lovely preowned one... Don't go fake!!!! Besides that it supports terrorism, you would probably not even carry your bag knowing its a fake...

I know what you mean - I'm 20 and Ive been wanting a Louis V since the Cherry Blossom line came out in 2003. I think if you can't afford a Louis atm just go for Juicy, I love Juicy myself and think being young now you may as well take advantage of the fact that you can get away with their fun designs, and get your Louis when you're a bit older and can afford it. That way it'll be more special than buying a used one and definately a fake. I think if you bought a fake, you wouldn't have the feeling of 'ooh i love this bag'. Just think you'll have plenty of years to save up and all that wait and saving will make it all that more special. I think a feeling like getting a bag you've been craving and saving for can't be replicated! Good luck!

I would say go for the Juicy. NO FAKES! Just keep saving and then you will have enough to get your LV.

Not to mention it would cost about as much for a fake LV as a new Juicy would cost, and it will probably only last through one or two uses before everyone can tell it's a fake because it is falling apart. I am 33 and I have just purchased my first, and now second, LV! It was well worth the wait! You won't have to wait that long if you don't have kids at teh age of 21!!!

Fakes are a no no. Just stick to Juicy Couture till you can save up for an authentic LV.
You'll appreciate and love it more when it's the real deal! ![]()

The replica bags are just not as high of a quality, and if you buy one, you never really know what you're going to get when it comes in the mail. At least if you buy a pre-loved bag, you'll know that it will be well made, and it will last for a very long time.
Besides, if you buy a replica bag now, down the road when you can afford the real thing, you'll wonder why you ever got the replica bag in the first place. You'll also have to carry around a replica bag, knowing that other people will know, and that won't make you feel very good. Why not get a Coach bag. I think that's the best starter "designer" bag for young people who can't afford to spend a lot.
