I write articles sometimes for DivaVillage.com: Celebrities, Gossip, Fun Quizzes, Fashion, Style, Beauty, Shopping, Tips, Lifestyle, Blogs, Social Networking, Free Ecards, Food, Fitness, Empowering and more! and did a review of the Morgan Oakley Ditch that I shared on TPF. I go to ebay and lookup Morgan Oakley and someone is using lines from my article verbatim as the description of the bag. I sent them a message to ask if they could just link to the article if they wanted to use my information to sell the bag. I know people on ebay use photos of celebs with bags from magazines and stuff, but this was so weird to see my EXACT WORDS on someones listing. Am I overreacting, or am I right to be irritated by this?

I would be bothered as well...

She had 6 of them listed, after I sent her a message to ask her to link to the article for credit she emailed back that she would change the listings. Now there is no text from my article in the listings. Good thing she was pleasant about it!
Yeah, that's good she changed it! I hate when sellers on eBay steal descriptions! It's not that hard to type, lol.

Yeah, my theory is that since shes not the most well known designer people who "bulk buy" just to resell have no idea what theyre buying/selling - if you google "morgan oakley ditch review" my article is the first thing that pops up!

Omg I googled it, that is so cool it does pop up first And I would be annoyed if someone stoled my lines.

You have every right to be upset, and it's a good thing she responded and changed it. There's nothing more annoying than coming across a site the steals your lines... or boldly cuts and pastes your entire article, images included
That's plagiarism. If they wanted to use your article they should have asked permission from you or at least acknowledged that you have written it. They could be sued for that or they could pay you for using your article or the exact words from your article..
