Default Year-Round Color: What do you pick?

If you're looking for a bag you can wear all year, what colors do you look for? Or do you just pick whatever bag you want, regardless of the color?

I realize that most of you have more than one bag to choose, but I'm just looking at one for the forseeable future, and am wondering if, say, MbMJ midnight would be ok for summer. Or should I not care?

It seems like most of the bags I like only have a few colors left, like black, earth (that one's everywhere), etc.

I wear almost any color bag year-round... like midnight blue. Yah, I would say that's a great year-rounder.

Personally, I tend to but my white bags away during the winter, bring out the earthy tones for fall, put the black bags away for summer, etc.

Hmm... a medium brown is definitely a year round color. Also, I like red for all seasons. I agree with Jen, white is more of a spring/summer color. But it can work as a winter white too if its an off-white shade.

I think BLACK is a classic year around bag color. Will go with every and anything. Or else I will use a logo bag for year around (which is probably in the fam of the browns/beiges with a splash of color like gold or silver on the hardware.)
But I normally intentionally purchase summer bags and winter bags...I love the pink bags in the summer, especially the white bags, the totes, any "fun" bag is classic summer. Handbags with fur, dark browns and blacks or any kind of animal print I tend to think of as winter bags...

I say black or brown..... I know that when I end up using a black or brown bag, I usually don't have to change it for a while if I'm feeling lazy because they go with almost everything!

I say Black and Brown as well. Though I got this handbag from my collection (some of you probably know I run a online handbag boutique) and I've been using it a lot because it looks great with my jeans!

i'd say brown like the monogram canvas from LV. to me, that's like the perfect year-round bag!!! but i also agree with Jen on midnight blue - also a wonderful year round color to sport!

I would go with a lighter brown. That way it goes with everything, but it can still be a summer bag. I also think that any color is great, and I wear my bags year round, because I like to have them go with my outfit, so don't limit your selection too much on color because you can wear it whenever!

I also agree with Alicia, Monogram LV is a great year round bag!
