Question Shirt Dresses

So, im usually not the person to wear dresses all that much, but I found one that I absolutely fell in love with, and its a shirt dress (I guess thats what its called? lol) And, I was just wondering what kind of shoes to wear with it? Im clueless on this one, so any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

i bought a cute one at TJM last week, its silk and looks sort of like a long button down with a cinched waist. does your belt? i would say if its knee length then go for a little kitten heel, and if its short then a flat metallic sandal.

That sounds good... Mine is suppose to be knee length, but im tall, so its above my knees... and its tan, with brown pinstripes and a brown belt... I was thinking the flats too. Thanks!

Flat gladiator sandals.
Patent leather ballet flats.
Slouchy v-neck cardigan over it with flat boots.

i have a ton of shirt dresses and if they are the polo ones, then flats or sandals work great. if its a button up type dress then you could wear it with wedges, heels, or flats
