Default Now I need jean suggestions! LOL!

Oh boy... I wasn't too happy yesterday. I went shopping to spend my gift cards... of course! Well, I was trying on jeans and I was having some serious problems. I tried on some Joe's Jeans and 7 For All Mankind Jeans. I tried on the biggest size that they had in the store, a size 31. And they were too small! I can't find any jeans that are attractive on me anymore... they are either way too big in the waist or they are too tight around my butt! AGH! The 7 For All Mankind Jeans were terrible... I could barely get them buttoned and I was half-way mooning out the back of them! The Joe's Jeans would have been better, but I couldn't get them buttoned at all. Perhaps I just need to lose weight? LOL! I don't know, I'm 5'9" tall and I normally wear like a 10/12 in a dress. But lately I've been having a horrible time finding jeans that fit. I bought a pair of Silver brand jeans a few months ago that are a size 34... which according to their chart was a 17 in Juniors. I didn't think I was that big... my CK jeans in a size 10 still fit me.

^^^ LOL! Well, I thought that a more expensive brand of jeans would fit better. Jeeze... was I ever wrong! The Silver brand jeans fit the best (which still isn't perfect) and they are only $70 jeans. Of course the super cheapie jeans don't come anywhere close to fitting... its like they were designed to fit a stick!

Ugh I know how you feel.....i always have problems with the way jeans fit....they are always way too long or they gape at the back around the waist....and ive tried on ridiculous amounts of designer jeans....and the only ones that fit me perfectly are J brand jeans....you should try them out...and they go up to a size 32!

Hey Vanessa, I tried some J Brand jeans today... oh dear... Well, I can at the very least say that I could actually get into them. LOL! Otherwise, they didn't look so hot. Let's see, then I tried some David Bitton jeans on today too... YIKES! They only cover half of my butt...
I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem. But its still frustrating.

well here's an expensive and a cheap option:

$$$ - Paige Premium Denim is my personal favorite. They run about $190 a pair but are really wonderful. I suggest trying them on - the owner/designer used to be a technical fit designer and that means a LOT. There are many fashion designers out there that do not understand the actual structure of a female body - which is why many brands just don't fit correctly.

S - Abercrombie & Fitch. Seriously, these make everyone feel thin. The fit on these jeans are big and so chances are - you won't have a problem finding a style to fit you. They are well made, cheap and come in a pretty large assortment of washes and fits. I would check them out - don't feel silly going in there either. Yes it's very preppy teen but while all their models look young and sickly thin, their jeans really don't run that way at all. I would have never suggested A&F jeans until my best friend started to swear by them and I tried them out and also felt that for the price - it was rad!!

GOOD LUCK!
