Default Designer clothes that last?

Is it just me or is there a law that says the more expensive an article of clothing is the easier it is to ruin it? I swear that most of my so called designer clothes just tend to fall apart. I have had super cheap clothes that have lasted a loooooooooong time. I don't even abuse my clothes either. I always follow the care instructions... but after a few times of wearing that expensive shirt... the seams are unraveling and what not. Are there any designers out there that make durable clothes? I don't want anything over-the-top expensive though! LOL! I'd rather get myself a new car!

Oooh I know what you mean.... I don't have EXPENSIVE brand clothes, but once of my Juicy tees' faded and started "un-threading" (is that even a word) after a couple of wears, compared to some BananaRepublic or Express tops that have lasted me a lot longer for about half the price off....

Really? No problems at all?
Well, I don't particularly like Polo... but I did get a couple of thermal hoodies because they were on sale pretty cheap. Those are holding up pretty well.
I guess what I'm talking about is the dressy stuff that seem to be made of tissue paper! LOL!

maybe i'm just not suppose to have furstenberg clothing items.... last night i was at lounge wearing my black and white zebra print dress... sitting at the bar some guy behind me ordered a red wine.... he reached over my right shoulder and spilled it all over my right side... I was like are you f-ing kidding me! I mean its not like I was hogging the bar. I was sitting over in the vip section, he could have went to the other side! Thank god I live only a block away.

OMG! Did he offer to pay for it? Or at least pay to have it cleaned? I know it was an accident... but I think he would still be liable for the damage he caused.

Well... just as long as it came out.
You could still figure out the guys name... even if he was drunk. LOL! You could take him on Judge Judy or something!

My own tip is to invest in the materials... I just bought a Prada periwinkle leather wrap skirt and a Miu Miu Metallic red with distressed silver streaks leather skirt. Leather is sturdy and worth the investment.
