    Default T by Alexander Wang

Alexander Wang's line of cotton (blend) tees, tanks, and tunics launched back in early 2009. This line is meant to be comfortable yet fashionable. There is also a men's line, his first ever. Most colors are in the black and white family, but there are some blues thrown in there too.

    According to Wang:
'Necklines are stretched and armholes are strategically lowered so that it looks worn in,' he explains. 'Itís like sleeping in a T-shirt and then wearing it the next day. Itís not this crisp little T out of the dryer. Itís draped and kind of wilted.'
Prices range from around $70 to around $135.

If you want to get a piece of Alexander Wang and not spend a fortune, this is definitely the way to go! Not everyone, however, is keen on spending $80 on a tank top!

    What do you guys think?

I would not spend $80 on a "worn in" looking tank.

I find there are certain people who can pull this look off really well without looking sloppy. Unfortunately I can't. I don't want to look like I've just woken up and am still wearing the shirt I fell asleep in.

I say...if you can pull this look off...go for it.

I really like the clothes, but I feel like I could buy this same thing at American Apparel/Forever 21. I really like the blue and white striped tank though.

^^^Do you think the quality is the same thought? I'm getting a little discouraged buying from F21 after the clothes I buy fall apart after 2-3 times in the laundry.

I like the tank tops. I can see myself wearing them. But purchasing them for the full $80 is another thing. If they were on sale I would probably pick up a couple

    I agree Jen!

tex - They're probably NOT the same quality, haha. I know what you mean about their stuff not staying together (rips, loose thread, etc)
