I don't gain weight either, and I eat a lot, but.... the only time I did put on 4-5 extra pounds was during my college partying binge - alcohol and late night meals will do the deed. Of course, it's not something I'd recommend, but it's the only thing that did it for me. Once I've stopped and went back to my normal diet, I quickly lost the extra weight and now I'm (in theory) 10 pounds underweight again. But this is my normal healthy and stable weight and I'd never worry about it. Some people just have a fast metabolism, which is actually very good. Just eat as much as you need and like and don't worry about others. They are probably just jealous anyway.

Gaining weight and maintaining your new weight often require a change in your eating habits. A few changes to your diet, and chances are, you can stop punching extra holes in your belt.

Gaining weight for an underweight individual can be as difficult as losing weight for people who are overweight. For some people, however, gaining weight is a medical necessity to help them achieve greater health, enhancing for example the strength of their bones. It is important to approach weight gain in a healthy manner, and to gain needed pounds through gradual diet and exercise changes.
