I guess it's only been like a week and a half... but I'm just stumped about this whole thing. Marissa, you tell me that if I don't eat carbs then my body will just gain weight the second I eat carbs again. But I've been exercising and counting calories and I know I can't possibly be taking in more than I'm burning and nothing seems to be happening. ::sigh::
Gotta count fat calories... not regular calories. Count how many fat calories you are consuming. For every 400 calories you lose exercising you are losing 100 fat calories.

LOL.. vinegar speeds up your metabolism. I've never heard of worms in vinegar? It's a proven fact though it's used to speed up metabolism. I had my mom eating at least 1 salad everyday with a salad dressing that had vinegar.. she lost 15 lbs... and her cholesterol went down 154 points in 3 months. Vinegar does wonders for the body

Let's see, I've been so-so lately. I went to visit my Grandma this weekend at her fancy country club so that was a lot of cheese and champagne Old people sure love to drink But I walked her dog around the place so I guess that counts for something! Sunday for lunch I had a chicken parmesan wrap and instead of french fries (my weakness!) I opted for fruit! Yay!

Today I had a slimfast shake for breakfast. Small chef salad w/ lite italian dressing for lunch... Just got done working out for 2 hours...And now I'm thinking of what I want for dinner.. Unfortunately I am really craving long john silver! AHHH!!!

Marissa, I kinda don't get it.. So my legs are in a 90 angle but my feet are touching? And I make my feet touch and then not?
Your doing the inner thigh exercise?? If Jennifer will allow me... I can take pictures demonstrating.. each exercise. I totally don't mind.

You know, vinegar eels. They are free living roundworms that live in vinegar. People swallow them all the time and they don't even know it. They aren't parasitic or anything, but my mom is freaked out about them because somebody mentioned them to her. She would have never even known they were there.

LOL.. that's funny. As long as they aren't parasites.. who cares. People in different countries eat worms as a meal! I could never... supposedly all bugs are protein!

^^^ Hehe! Google it, they'll pop up! Oh, BTW, Susie... why are you upset about weighing only 119? Sounds like you're getting in shape with that boot camp. Are you sure you didn't just replace some fat with some muscle?

    Default Help me!

OMG! Mr. BRS and I have been on a fast food binge for the past two months (ever since my car accident). No matter how much I think I'm going to quit... it just never ends up happening. I know it sounds so simple and you're probably wondering why I don't just stop. But it is weird... the urge is just so strong. French fries make me feel good. LOL! And Mr. BRS doesn't help at all with the situation. Just today, I wanted to have a sandwich for lunch at home. But he complained that there wasn't anything for HIM to eat. So I said "fine". So I tell myself I'll just get a salad wherever we are going. But then we get there and other things just smell so good! Agh! What is wrong with me?! I just know he's going to want ice cream tonight too. He seems to think we need to have dessert EVERY night.

Just think of it this way - spending money on dining out every night / several times a week adds up the $$!! Just think of all the money you'd save! Each time you dine out....write down what you spent, then at the end of the week - add it up. I bet you'll be surprised!

LOL! Sadly, I have a pretty good idea of how much money has been thrown out the window these last couple of months. Actually, you would probably be the one who is shocked if I told you. The problem is that as long as there is money in the bank... the urge is still there. I was actually hoping I'd empty my bank account so that I would be forced to stop. I've already spent all of my left over financial aid money... but then I got paid from work and such. ::sigh::

Mr. BRS hates my awful cooking and he about dies every time I buy a bag. ROFL! I understand what you're saying though. Especially since I go through this vicious cycle with money. I have no money... then I get a decent chunk of money... start spending like crazy because I didn't have money before and I need things... then I have no money again... and then the whole thing starts over again. I have always had a problem with eating out though. I think part of it is because the food makes me feel satisfied (even if that satisfaction is short lived). Plus, it is the only way to get Mr BRS to have a conversation with me while we're eating. If we eat at home, he's plopped in front of the TV and he completely ignores me. I really want to stop though because I think I'm gaining weight again. My pooch seems bigger and a lot of my clothes don't fit (I'm down to one pair of work pants). And it doesn't help that Mr. BRS is constantly reminding me that I'm fatter. He's always grabbing at my tummy and teasing me that I look pregnant. Too bad for him... because that just makes me sooooooo not in the mood, if you know what I mean.

LOL! You think he would believe me? I've been known to not be in the mood for other reasons too!

Okay... so seriously, what can I do to help myself get back on track? Should I see a councilor or something? I think I need more help than what my own willpower can provide at this point.
