    I need more fruits and veggies too. I have a hard time fitting in exercise, let alone a snack! I'm going to the store tomorrow though, so maybe I can squeeze some veggies in at dinner or something.

    Make sure to ALWAYS get fresh veggies... Canned veggies are not only preserved.. but also have a lot of salt. Anything preserved is NEVER good for you.

    I forgot to add.. why preserved foods are bad. They put all this stuff in it (usually liquid) to make the fruits and veggies last. If you buy fresh fruits and veggies notice they go bad within a couple days? Whereas preserved food in cans.. last... months??? Think of what they are putting in it to make it last that long. And when something is preserved.. they food companies do not have to tell you exactly what they put in it to make it last. It's horrible.. but when something is preserved food companies are allowed to stretch the truth. Just like when the whole "Trans Fat" thing on labels.. another thing Food Companies are allowed to lie about. When it says low trans fat.. chances are its not. That's just to entice you to buy it. I had to do research on this stuff... it's sad what food companies are allowed to do. My one professor that taught me all of this... was AMAZING. She knows everything about health.

    When something is processed??? Even worse...

    mmm i just bought hummus and pita bread!!!!

    Just a quick fact, if you buy carrots, go for the whole carrots and not baby ones.. when they cut the baby ones, they skin off a lot of the layers which contain most of the vitamins.. i mean, they're still very good for you but you just won't get as much out of them as you would with a full sized carrot

    Jess - No... not really. I just weighed myself again last night and the scale said 161.0.

    Lay on your back.... legs in the air in teh shape of a 90 degree angle... feet touching eachother.. then open and close. If it doesn't make any sense.. I'll take a picture.

    Do that about 200 times a day.. and your inner thighs will shrink!!

    I'm so mad! I tried this new makeup today and I told my husband that I thought it made my skin look "dewy". And he was like, "What? Doughy?". So now he's been saying that I look doughy all day!!!
