Re: Weight Loss Journal
Diet? What diet?
Oh gosh, I think I've put on weight since this thread was started. I don't know what happened. I told you I like to eat when I'm depressed, and things have been a bit depressing lately.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
^^^ I don't think so. No one has posted in this thread for a long time. I don't think I was getting enough support.
I did start thinking about exercising again maybe last week... but I have yet to do anything about it.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
^^^ Screw other people's support BRS!! Ill support you!! YOU CAN DO IT!!! Thinking about exercising and doing it is different! Get your butt up off away from the comp RITE NOW AND GET TO IT!! DO IT! DOIT DO IT!
Seriously, dont look towards other people for support (it would be nice though...) The most important part is to find that self motivation inside of you and force yourself to get up and do it....that's the hardest part IMO.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
^^ SOunds to me like you just need a lil toning up. If you need to lose a lil weight (which to me it doesnt sound like it IMO). Just hit the treadmill for 30-45mins. a day 4 times a week and after youre done with the treadmill head over to do some abs workout.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
Hmmm... want to lose weight real fast???? I'm 5 foot.. 105 lbs..and I have really bad heavy weight genes in my family. When I feel the weight coming on.... I...
DO CARMEN ELECTRA STRIPTEASE AEROBICS!! Seriously... you lose so much weight from those videos and it increases your stamina! Amazing DVDs... teaches you sexy dance moves.. but burns the weight off.
Highly recommend... I have all of them.. they are amazing!
ALSO... I keep my stomach toned.. with Belly Dancing!!! It hurts like no tomorrow.. but doing belly dancing takes away that stomach fat in NO TIME. Flat stomach in no time.. with belly dancing.
Hope that helps!

Re: Weight Loss Journal
Okay, I just came across this thread... Don't really know how many people have lost (if any ) weight after being on this thread.. :)
I am 5 '3
115 lbs
I think I am sort of fine.. apart from the fact that I can't get to tone my arms... and have recently developed another coat around my waist.. although i have abs..
I am a gymachoholic.. go to gym arnd 4 times a week... do treadmill for no less than 30-35 minutes... plus abs/legs/arms .. all strength in turns..
But my weakness is.. I can't resist an icecream cone or a icecream bar after dinner... i have to have it.. :) every day... and then i love hot chocolate brownie fudge sundae... oh man.. i feel hungry again...
and then i love tiramisus too much.. :)
So I don't cut down on any of those things... and my stomach refuses to cut down on any of that fat its buddying with...
So, help me out here... Can you do some extra toning for arms & stomach ? (I don't have a paunch.. tummy is flat.. but it's wider in all than what it should be...)
helo the guy... help help...

Re: Weight Loss Journal
I was going to school to be a nutritionist at one point... your problem is the sugar. You consume too much sugar. Sugar turns to fat... Instead of indulging tons of sugar at one times.. just eat little bites to satisfy yourself.
If you really want to stay away from sugar. You can totally not eat it... you will go through bad withdrawls. But your body will get use to not eating it..
Also, you are not exercising enough for what you eat. For every 400 hundred calories you lose.. you are only using 100 fat calories. Never look at the calories a label has.. always look at how many fat calories.
For me.. I don't drink soda or juice at all and I don't snack. But I do have a weakness for sweets. Everytime I'm craving something.. I just eat a little bit.. or once a week.. I will let myself indulge.
You really can eat whatever you want.. you just need to exercise. I remember one of my health teachers told us in class.. that a person needs to exercise 1 hour (but exercise where you are really working yourself.. to the point.. you are taking those deep breaths.. that means you are at a good heart rate.. and really working your body) a day to see any results. And she also told us to keep the heart healthy.. we need to excerise (cardio exercise) 1 hour a day.. then out also 3 days out of the week.. do some muscle exercises.

Re: Weight Loss Journal
beautiful avatar pic frst of all..
yes u are right.. my problem is sugar..
I use splenda otherwise.. for coffee/milk etc..
But you know what, I read some bad stuff about consuming splenda too.. like it has more carb.. etc etc..
I think my diet is screwed up.. All I eat at work is salad everyday (with spritzers dressings..) no cheese.. no croutons.. & fruits(either a banana, papaya or an apple).. I take honey bunches of oat cereal in the morning...
I get screwed up during the weekends.. cuz i don't cook at all & we eat out..
I do eat at home every night.. not too much.. but u knw what they say.. you can't just put the stomach to work only at one time.. and thats what seems to be my problem.. my major meal is just one.. which i take arnd 6-7pm.. & don't know if i can change that since i just can't eat anything heavy when I am at work.. I feel bloated too easy.. and don't like that feeling..
God save me.. :-)

I am the same way. I stopped working out for the longest time but now I drag myself to the gym everyday.... even if I don't want to. My reward: lemon sorbet afterwards
I had a ice cream cone from DQ tonight though. Hmm... I think that probably cancels that out , huh?
