Is anyone Vegan here?
What do you usually eat? I'm trying to follow this style, but I'm concern about where I can take my proteins.

Re: Is anyone Vegan here?
I’m not a vegan, however I do a month long Raw Vegan Cleanse yearly, plus my BF and I try to do Vegan Tuesdays. In all my search I found that there are tons of vegi’s have protein.
I usually don’t eat very much meat to begin with, so I make a protein smoothy everyday using Garden of Life Raw Protein - they sell it at whole foods. It’s organic, vegan, gluten and dairy free. And 1 scoop has 17g of protein!! Plus a bunch of other nutrients.
There’s also TVP, aka Textured Vegetable Protein - they sell it in bulk at Whole Foods.

I also use Silk Almond Milk with added Protein + Fiber. It's so gooood and it's perfect for smoothies and coffee. 1 cup has 5g of Protein.

Ashle:
You should research this lifestyle before embarking on it because there are too many people out there that will try and discourage you from starting. Like the myth about protein and having to get it from an animal. Protein can be taken in so many ways from vegetables, legumes etc. so its all about balance.
Its funny, you talk to someone who has a really poor American diet and they're the same one's warning you not to eat clean.

Re: Is anyone Vegan here?
I tried as well, wayyyy too hard to get all the nutrients, especially the amino acids for muscle growth. You have to be rich and have a cook, or live in a city like London that has plenty of places for vegans
