    OMG! I think I'm going to be crying for a loooooooong time!
    I was at the doctor today and I asked her about my pooch and how people keep asking me if I'm pregnant. Well... people are probably going to continue to think I'm pregnant all the time because she said my pooch was hereditary. Since my mom has one and my grandma had one... I'm going to have one!!! And she said all the sit-ups in the world were not going to make it go away! I knew I had put on some weight, but I thought that was just what happens when you're in your mid-twenties. You metabolism changes and your body starts to fill out a little. I was thinking: Yeah girl, you've got some curves (I used to look like a stick). But now I don't feel all that great about it because people keep innocently asking me if I'm pregnant. Obviously they are seeing something that I wasn't!!!

    Honestly - I know this post is a bit late since you have already done your shoot, but the best (and healthiest) way to lose weight fast is to do cardio and overhaul the diet! Sucks, I know...but try changing everything you drink to water. You'll lose approx. 5lbs. in a week. The best thing to do is maintain. And honestly - weights burn calories LONG after you have finished your workout. Sugar is your enemy.

    I used to be 178 pounds I am 122 (5'9) now I used to exercise like crazy and now
    all I do is fidget and walk my dog. I also stopped eating meat.

    I'd suggest u a plan which have helped my friend lose more than 15 pounds of weight gradually over a period of 6 months. Whatever u take in is correct, but then u need to burn out ur fat. U din specify ur age. If u r below 40, u could jog instead of walking which would help u a lot. Swimming is the best exercise to loose weight. Losing weight is not a big issue, but then maintaining the correct weight is more essential. After u come down to ur desired weight, practise yoga regularly. This is the best idea I have seen working. Hope u will try this out.

    why don't you use the elliptical. I burn 1000 calories an hour. It takes 3000 calories to lose a pound. In addition to that skip out on the carbs totally. In addition to that drink nothing but water. Good luck.

    LOL, that is funny.But yeah. it is always the yummy foods fault. Luckily i am not in a position of losing weight, but i do need exercise badly to keep a good health. I am thinking of practicing YOGA

    Marissa, you are simply a beautiful girl! I hate that the "industry" does this to beautiful women. There have been so many young entertainers / starlets I've seen who are knock outs that only end up being skinny bean poles. It's pathetic. Most men love curves. I know mine does.

    But I think you would probably enjoy pilates alot. If you are having thigh trouble, walking lunges are a great way to firm up and lift the bottom and work on the thighs. Pilates is great at strengthing the core and lengthening the muscles so if you are short, that is a real plus. Instead of remolding you, they should market your image like Selma Hayek and Eva Mendes. Two of the most beautiful WOMEN in the industry - in my humble opinion!

    I don't diet , but I love to excercise -- I am a certified Indoor Cycling Instructor
    I also love to throw around the weights !!!

    I am 5'1 and weigh 175 - by industry/societial standards I am considered a cow , however, I do believe things are a changing... Didn't Adele win a Grammy or two last year?? and for sure she is
    not even remotely considered a beanpole ... Kelly Clarkson's career hasn't faded either -- Marie Claire has A FAT girl talking about fashion and Crystal Renn is everywhere !!!!!

    Marissa -- you are beautiful - don't let them bring ya down -- however, I can only imagine the pressure you must get in your industry ...

    For any gal , regardless of big, small , tall , short etc. is CONFIDENCE --- and the RIGHT clothing --- it is amazing what a great outfit can do and a pair of Spanx !!!

    my exercise... WII!

    I got the wii fit for xmas and use it like 3 times a week. It's a really fun way to work out.

    By exercise, do u mean all types of exercise and workouts? I read somewhere in an online health website that brisk-walking does the trick. it combines muscle-toning exercise, cardiovascular exercise, and burns more calories, plus it costs less! you can just go to a nearby park and brisk-walk!
