Hello Everyone,

I am quite new here and was just wondering about F+C bags,

There is two colors I really like on WINKNYC and was wondering if I could get some input from TBF.

I know the Red Ruby is Glazed Leather, Is there a NON Glazed on in the same color??
also is the Violet on the site Glazed or is it just normal finishing?


Has anyone here had any problems with the Glazed leather (I heard it fades and wears horribly)

I have a glazed Ruby F+C...but I haven't had it for that long. So, I can't help you on the subject of it fading or not, sorry!

But the glazed red ruby is exclusive to winknyc.com....so I don't think it's available in the regular leather. I think it's the same for the violet.

The glazed is thinner than the regular and pebbled leathers. I have heard of the glazed rubbing off a little though...
I would just make sure to use a good leather conditioner if you go with the glazed.

Ooooh I actually didn't even notice if the purple was glazed. That might actually deter me from buying it now. I wish they had this in the pebbled leather!

Is the ruby a dark pure lipstick red?? or is it a bright red?

I like the purple, but the City is HUGE, so I would stick with the Mid City or Mini City, which is available in the ruby.

I have a mid city in Electric Sea and it is not glazed. The color is super saturated and bright. If it were glazed it would burn your eyeballs.

I have a black City Clutch and the leather is very saturated and super soft. I also have the City in gunmetal and the leather is crinkly and distressed. I love it and I also love the size!!:wub: I wear it folded over and it is perfect!

Yes, the city clutch's leather on my old pink bag was nice! The glazed is pretty too. It isn't too shiny.

Hi,

I'm new to F+C too...can anyone help me with the sizes? Believe me, you aren't alone on the confusion front-- I also want to buy one and there aren't an boutiques in the area, so I'm doing the online thing too

Any way, can someone help me with the size differences between the mini, mid, and city sizes? I've seen a few pix, but I'm hoping some of you F+C experts can help me b/c I'm having a hard time estimating know how big they actually are and much they can carry. Also, if I'm planning to carry it folded over, does the size affect the way it hangs, etc?
