i went into a store one day and i had my pietro bag and the sales person says i love your foley i havent seen that color i said its not a foley its a pietro the sales person says wow its very high quality now let me show you the real one i was like this is the real one this company has been around for ages and just because there bags are 200.00 less than what you are selling it for dont act like its not a real bag boy i was annoyed , pietro has a gorgeous line i wish i could have all there bags |

Wait, I'm confused. So who came first? F+C began in 1999, but it doesn't say when the City style handbags were introduced. Pietro began originally in 1982, but the Pietro Alessandro didn't come until 2004.
![]() At any rate, the leather on the Pietro Alessandro bags looks cheap in the pictures. Just because it's Italian doesn't necessarily mean it's good. There's "good" Italian leather and there's "not-so-good" Italian leather. I guess I'd have to see one in person, but I don't know of anywhere that carries them around here. ![]()
