In 1997 Silvia Venturini Fendi (third generation Fendi) revived the Selleria line. The Fendi Selleria bags are stitched by hand using ancient Roman leather making techniques to create a soft, pliable texture and are made in special editions.

I never understood why the price for the Selleria Fendi line was so extreme for a bag that doesn't have much to it. I dont think that bag is ugly at all, its just (imo) there is nothing special here for the price. It must be the "limited edition status". Well the good news is if you wanted to get your hands on a Selleria bag is that it's currently on sale for about $300 off the retail.
