I'm not an expert, but I'm thinking this is not authentic. Usually on the baguette bags the FF buckle is in the middle of the bag, not located near the top. Also, although the picture is blurry, the silver name plate on the inside should be attached to a leather strip around the pocket. Vintage Fendi's vary though. The name plate looks different on different years, and different bags, but I think the one you have is not correct.

Thanks for your help. Weeeeee - I just heard from the previous owner (finally) and she purchased it in New York, and yes it is authentic. I know my pictures were bad, but the tag is actually attached to a leather strip underneath the fabric. Thanks all. Bridget

I mean, it may be authentic, but you can't really take someone's word for it. I would take it somewhere to try and get it authenticated in person.

I'm sorry... I'm not familiar with that style. And the pictures are too blurry to really tell much. If the person you bought it from says its authentic, then they shouldn't have any problem if you took it to a Fendi boutique.
