Thread: genuine Vintage Fendi-how do I find how much it's worth?

My ex-boyfriend's mom gave me a Fendi clutch still with the Neiman Marcus tag on it and in the safety bag. She got it from his grandmother so she thinks its about 40 years old. I took it to a Fendi store in Italy this year and they explained they don't have records that old, but the lady working there said she recognized it was genuine but had no way of finding out how much it's worth since LVMH didn't request records that old when they purchased Fendi (which seems odd to me).

Does anyone know how I can find out how much it's worth or how to sell it. The sales lady in Italy recommended I donate it to MCNY or the MET.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

There's nothing even close to it on Ebay. It's got to be extremely rare. It's between 35 and 40 years old...

I have an epi leather Fendi wallet.
the Fendi girl at the Saks by my house, said that Fendi only produced epi for one or two years. She thought it was in the 1970s.

My wallet is 5 inches wide and 3 inches high,
It is a fold over style with a snap with the Fendi logo on the front.
The interior has four accordion perfectly lined pockets, and one smaller front lined pocket with its own separate flap.
It's in very good condition even though i use her.
