Newbark Oversized Patchwork Clutch
Usually when I think of the word "patchwork", some very unpleasant things come to mind. In particular, I think of the Coach patchwork styles. For me, most of those were epic fails in the handbag fashion category. They just weren't all that attractive. So you can imagine that I was a bit wary when I saw "patchwork" in the Newbark Oversized Patchwork Clutch. Was it as bad as I thought it was going to be? To my surprise, it was quite the opposite!
Newbark is a newcomer to the handbag world, having launched their handbag collection just last year in 2011. Looking at this lovely piece though, you really wouldn't know it! I love the alternating rectangular patches of color and texture..

I know, seriously. When I saw the title I was like, uhoh patchwork. hehe.
This clutch isn't necessarily for me, but I'm excited to see what else they come out with, especially since they're a new brand.

Yep, patchwork can get pretty ugly. This one is nice. I am interested to see what else they come out with though.

Sorry BrS, but i think this patchwork bag continues the ugly trend. It looks like it was made from leftover bits of leather.
